
Chelsea E. Gavin
Chelsea E. Gavin is a litigation attorney at Lamson Dugan& Murray, licensed to practice in Iowa, Nebraska, and New York. She brings a strong foundation in trial advocacy and courtroom experience to her practice, developed through rigorous academic training and hands-on prosecutorial work.
Chelsea earned her J.D. summa cum laude from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law, where she was inducted into the Order of the Coif. During law school, she served as Chairperson of the National Trial Team, Associate Editor of the Villanova Law Review, and a Teaching Assistant for Civil Procedure. Her leadership and dedication to advocacy earned her the James J. Manderino Award for Trial Advocacy and the Reverend Joseph Ullman Award for Criminal Procedure.
Following graduation, Chelsea joined the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office as an Assistant District Attorney, gaining meaningful experience in courtroom litigation and prosecutorial discretion.
Originally from the Midwest, Chelsea holds a B.A. in Political Science from Iowa State University. She enjoys cheering on the Cyclones, exploring Omaha, and getting lost in a good book.
